Position Summary Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician – A dynamic career opportunity within a fast‑paced retail environment. Your role will support and oversee repair within the Walmart facilities Refrigeration HVAC equipment team and assets by utilizing commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills and tools to complete jobs.

Minimum Qualifications

10 years’ experience in commercial refrigeration HVAC maintenance

Large‑scale rack refrigeration experience

Type I/Type II or Universal EPA Certification for refrigerant handling

Valid state‑issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and the ability to pass an MVR report

18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent

Job Duties

Maintain and repair Walmart facility’s refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills, hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment.

Use the work order management system to receive repair work orders, support stores and store associates, and document repair activities.

Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.

Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.

Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.

Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations by performing work according to Walmart’s refrigeration HVAC safety policy and environmental guidelines.

Lift up to 75 pounds, move up and down ladders, and work comfortably at heights frequently.

The hourly wage range for this position is $26.00–$51.00; the actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the applicable minimum wage. Additional compensation may include premiums ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour, based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
