Key Responsibilities
Communicate with or to individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing, e.g., customers, suppliers, associates.
Drive and implement the business plan for your area of responsibility to achieve facility goals such as production, quality, safety, and operational improvements.
Forecast staffing, workload, and performance results to meet business demands.
Prepare, review, and analyze business reports to identify operational improvements.
Monitor and ensure compliance with logistics and company quality and safety standards, policies, procedures, and directives.
Identify and resolve associate, customer, and supplier concerns using judgment or consulting others when needed.
Supervise and manage associates and leaders by giving direction, monitoring performance, providing feedback, identifying training and development needs, and supporting hiring, promotion, coaching, and evaluation.
Build high‑performing teams that embrace diversity, foster belonging, and create opportunities for all associates to thrive.
Act with integrity by maintaining high standards of ethics and compliance, and supporting Walmart’s regenerative goals.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in business or a related field (e.g., Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Financial Management, Production/Operations Management).
1 year of experience in an operations/distribution/logistics/retail environment supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers/supervisors and managing workload; or 1 year of experience as a Walmart Logistics Area Manager supervising associates and managing workload; or 3 years of experience in an operations/distribution/logistics/retail environment supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers/supervisors.
All candidates must complete required training and assessments.
Preferred Qualifications
Financial modeling and analysis.
Managing challenging workforce issues.
Modeling/forecasting and budget preparation.
Profit and loss (P&L) accountability.
Experience supervising associates and acting as a Walmart Logistics Manager.
Academic background in business, finance, logistics, management, or operations management (bachelor’s level).
