The primary role of the Member Contact Center Representative I is to provide exemplary service to the Credit Union via all manners of contact (phone, e-mail, web channels, mail, and facsimile). Under general supervision, MCC Rep I performs a wide variety of duties related to member service such as processing deposits and withdrawals, reviewing account information and credit/card transactions, processing loan payments, and providing basic online banking support. This role supports all depository and lending products and works to achieve cross-sell goals. MCC Rep I typically handles phone queues and adheres to the assigned schedule to meet service standards. The role prioritizes the member experience and represents Nuvision Credit Union professionally at all times, maintaining confidentiality and exercising tact and diplomacy. Responsibilities
Provide efficient and timely service to the membership via phone, mail, facsimile, as applicable. Perform basic member service transactions with quality and accuracy. Consult with members, identify needs, offer solutions, and follow up on pending transactions. Engage in meaningful conversations with members (in person or by phone). Recommend other products and services as appropriate from conversations with members. Open new Member Accounts and related products; complete required forms (Account Cards, Certificate Applications, Trust Applications, etc.). Perform account maintenance (address/name changes, updates, beneficiaries, close/deceased accounts, notary services). Identify and report suspicious behavior or suspected fraud activity. Complete required training and compliance modules. Treat co-workers and members with respect; participate in continuous improvement activities. Represent the Credit Union positively and professionally; maintain confidentiality of member information. Other related duties as assigned. Qualifications
1 year retail experience with a proven track record in meeting/exceeding service and sales goals. Basic understanding of financial products and services. Professional verbal skills and etiquette; excellent follow-up and written skills (email) with strong grammar and spelling. Competent computer skills (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel); remote signing and ability to operate a webcam. Strong interpersonal, listening, and empathetic skills; ability to anticipate member needs. Team player who works well with other departments; genuine interest in helping members through Conversations that Matter. Willingness to make a difference; personable and professional demeanor. Education
High School Diploma or equivalent. Pay and Location
Pay scale by applicable geographic location: Alaska: Min $20.00 - Mid $24.31 - Max $29.17 Arizona: Min $16.77 - Mid $20.96 - Max $25.15 Nevada: Min $17.15 - Mid $21.44 - Max $25.73 Texas: Min $16.14 - Mid $20.18 - Max $24.22 Washington: Min $20.00 - Mid $24.35 - Max $29.23 Wyoming: Min $16.53 - Mid $20.67 - Max $24.50 The final pay offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors, including experience, training, and position within the geographic location.
