The Company is seeking a President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to serve as its visionary leader, chief fundraiser, and ambassador. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the organization in its mission to provide high-quality programs and support for individuals and families affected by Alzheimer's disease. This includes strengthening philanthropic support, elevating public visibility, and building partnerships with various stakeholders. The CEO will work closely with the Board of Directors to execute a strategic plan, anticipate trends in healthcare and philanthropy, and ensure the organization's continued growth and impact.
Key responsibilities for the role include strategic leadership, fundraising, external relations, and organizational management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in fundraising, with a focus on major gifts and corporate partnerships, and will be adept at representing the organization in the media and with policymakers. They should also have a background in senior leadership, preferably in healthcare, social services, or the nonprofit sector, and a deep passion for the mission of the organization. The role requires a leader with a collaborative spirit, integrity, and a commitment to diversity and inclusion, who can inspire and manage a dedicated staff and engage with a diverse, multicultural community. A degree in a related field is preferred, and knowledge of the philanthropic landscape in Los Angeles is highly valued.
