About the Role
The Company is in search of a President and CEO to lead its mission of empowering women and promoting racial justice. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing executive leadership in strategic and organizational planning, ensuring the sustainability of programs and services, and maintaining the organization's reputation as a leader in the field. This role requires a proven track record in nonprofit executive management, with a focus on philanthropy, and a deep commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. The President and CEO will work closely with the Board of Directors, manage a senior leadership team, and be the primary spokesperson and fundraiser for the organization.
Key responsibilities for the President and CEO include organizational leadership, fostering a culture of empowerment and inclusion, and leading community programs and services that address systemic inequities. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years' of experience in a senior management role, a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred), and a history of successful fundraising and financial management. They should be adept at building and stewarding relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders and have a strong background in advocacy and external relations. The role demands a leader with high social-emotional intelligence, integrity, and the ability to inspire and motivate both internal and external constituencies.
