Role: Trainer Overview: PLM Group We manage the engineering process that are executed inside of creo and teamcenter and EDS, any of the visualization software. Manage all those engineering process for how an engineer would take his role up drawing and notice from his drafting table to the checkers department and then checkers would take it down to the engineering releasers. Would train all of our engineer, ERD forks and the interns. Also, heavily involved in creating and maintaining our training documentation. We maintain steps that we release with the new version of creo and teamcenter, we will update that training information. Will heavily involved in the identification of maintenance, creation of training courses, training documents to those that have team center account and use creo and EDS The focus of this role is training ERDs. Top Skills: Engineering Creating and maintaining documents Caterpillar experience is highly desired Training creation software is a plus Education and Experience: No degree 5 years of experience Masters is ok Position’s Contributions to Work Group: Responsible for training Catalogue maintenance and organization. Duties include training interns and ERDs every year, creating, organizing, and deploying training in current location (Enable Now), building out new training in Workday, and creating a more comprehensive set of engineering training material specifically for new and onboarded engineers. Typical task breakdown: - New training identified. Training format decided. (virtual, in person, one pager, course, quick start, reference doc,etc) - Provide requirements to training resource team - Manage the creation of training material, - Review, publish, advertise newly created training. Interaction with team: - Work with all of the 7 Product Managers within the ePLM division, Data Exchange and Reporting, Change and Document Management, CAD, Bill of Materials, Tc Security, Tc Foundation, Visualization to ensure the new process, feature, or function is adequately documented in training material. - Provide updates in week stand-ups - Provide updates in monthly all employee meetings. Team Structure - Training Product Manager o Training Product Owner (this role) o Training resource team ( Off site) Work environment: Standard office environment.
