About the Role
The Company is in search of an Executive Vice President, Chief Mission Officer to join its Senior Leadership Team. The successful candidate will be a seasoned executive with a strong grounding in the Catholic tradition, particularly in the context of healthcare. This role is pivotal in upholding the organization's more than 100-year tradition of serving the poor and vulnerable, while also advancing best practices. The Chief Mission Officer will be responsible for designing and implementing strategies that ensure mission integration, including the development of formation programs, maintaining ecclesial relationships, and upholding the Ethical and Religious Directives.
The ideal candidate will be a mission-driven leader, capable of balancing organizational priorities with the spiritual foundation of their work. Key responsibilities include serving as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and cultivating relationships with external partners, including Catholic Church officials. The role demands a collaborative systems thinker with a proven ability to integrate mission into strategy and operations, and experience in leading complex change. The Chief Mission Officer will also oversee initiatives that enhance the spiritual and cultural dimensions of leadership and caregivers, and must maintain strong relationships with diocesan bishops and the broader Catholic community.
