Key responsibilities include overseeing all financial operations, ensuring compliance with various financial and regulatory requirements, leading annual audits, and managing risk through the development of policies and internal controls.
Candidates for the CFO position at the company must have a Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, with a Master’s degree preferred, and at least 10 years of senior financial leadership experience in the nonprofit sector. Expertise in audits, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and investment accounting is essential, as is a strong understanding of government-funded financial requirements and compliance.
