About the Role
The Company is seeking a President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight in support of its mission to benefit youth and adults with special needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing the Foundation's strategic plan, serving as the community-facing leader, and ensuring the Foundation's operations align with its mission and values. This role involves close collaboration with donors, board members, and the leadership of the organization, as well as oversight of finance, development, and compliance activities. The CEO will also be tasked with building and inspiring a high-performing team, setting and achieving revenue goals, and fostering a culture of philanthropy.
Candidates for the CEO position should have a Bachelor's degree and at least 7 years of leadership experience, with a proven track record in philanthropy and a thorough understanding of planned giving. The ideal candidate will be an innovative, forward-thinking leader with exceptional interpersonal skills, a genuine commitment to the well-being of youth, and a deep understanding of the principles of the organization. Strong communication, management, and crisis response skills are essential, as is the ability to work with a diverse range of stakeholders. Preference will be given to those with advanced academic degrees, professional fundraising designations, and experience in related fields such as child protection, education, or social services.
