Position Details: Location: Ypsilanti, MI Duration: Full Semester Contract Start Date: ASAP through June 5, 2026 Schedule: Full-time hours Caseload includes: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Cognitive Impairment (CI) special education rooms 1 classroom serving 2nd/3rd grade students 1 classroom serving 4th/5th grade students Qualifications: Must hold an active Michigan Special Education teaching license Experience working with elementary-age students in ASD and CI classrooms is highly valued Strong classroom management and individualized instruction skills Ability to collaborate effectively with school staff, families, and related service providers Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment for students with diverse learning needs Responsibilities: Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each students unique requirements Provide differentiated instruction within ASD and CI settings to promote academic and social growth Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed Maintain documentation and comply with state and district special education policies Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive educational atmosphere This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in students academic lives within a supportive community. xsgimln Candidates interested in this position are encouraged to submit their credentials promptly for consideration.
