Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with general education teachers to implement effective co-teaching strategies. Develop and adapt individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs. Monitor student progress and communicate findings to parents, staff, and administration. Utilize instructional best practices to support academic and social development. Participate in team meetings and professional development activities. Desired Qualifications: Valid Elementary Education certification in the state of Georgia. Experience teaching special education in an elementary setting. Strong classroom management and collaborative skills. Ability to conduct assessments and develop IEPs. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Location: Elementary School setting in Lawrenceville, GA Contract Details: Contract position for the current school year (CSY) Full-time, 37.5 hours per week Additional Requirements: Candidates must successfully complete three reference checks prior to interviewing; one reference must be a current or recent principal or assistant principal.
