Position
Immediate opening for a SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver at Ryder in Syracuse, NY.

Pay
Weekly earnings: $1,318 (or more)
Hourly pay: $32.96 / hour
Hours per week: 40 + overtime
Schedule: Monday - Friday, start 6:30 AM
Paid training
Route & Equipment
Deliver SOLO to NY, PA, NJ, CT
Route: Home daily
Truck: 26' Straight, 48' and 53' Dry Van
Equipment: Lift gate, pallet jack, hand dolly
Freight: Touch – HVAC equipment
Endorsement: Hazmat required

Requirements
Minimum 21 years old
Pass Ryder drug test
Pass Ryder background & motor vehicle check (including last 3 years of employers)
Pass DOT physical
Pass Ryder road test
Have appropriate CDL and endorsements
Class A experience:
≥ 9 months in last 3 years OR
≥ 2 years in last 5 years OR
≥ 5 years in last 10 years
Ability to follow written & oral instructions
Ability to read, interpret, & apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, procedures
Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with federal/state laws & regulations
Detect & eliminate safety hazards; maintain accurate records & logs
Load/unload freight or assist as required by customer
Perform other duties as assigned
