Workday Testing Lead (Operations & Policy Analyst 4)

* Design and manage testing strategies for Workday system changes; oversee test execution, troubleshooting, and defect resolution.* Partner with Workday administrators, SMEs, and business analysts to analyze impacts, coordinate testing, and validate solutions.* Validate that all releases meet requirements before going live.* Use root cause analysis and lessons learned to refine testing processes and improve system reliability.* Manage the automated regression testing suite to identify gaps, build new test cases, and support automation goals.* Respond to inquiries from leadership and external oversight agencies with clear documentation, reports, and presentations.* Contribute to strategic improvements, standardize testing approaches, and enhance automation across Workday Oregon.* Managing and creating test plans and testing groups* Strong knowledge of Oregon state government structure and operations (all branches)* Expertise in modern testing management and documentation best practices* Excellent verbal and written communication skills* Ability to effectively train others in both small and large group settings* Experience in writing reports, ideally within Workday* Strong analytical skills and experience with data management* General knowledge of process improvement tools (e.g., Lean, RPI events)* Deep understanding of SaaS systems; Workday experience strongly preferredBe sure your materials clearly show how you meet the **minimum qualifications and desired attributes.** Your cover letter must demonstrate how you meet the **desired attributes** listed in the posting.
