Job Duties Join the Frontlines of Workforce Innovation. Are you passionate about bridging the gap between top-tier talent and mission-driven employers? Step into the role of V3 Employer Liaison, where strategy meets service. You'll be the go‑to guide for businesses across Virginia, helping them unlock the power of hiring Veterans, Transitioning Service Members, Military Spouses, and Dependents.
Educate and support employers in adopting nationally recognized best practices for recruiting, hiring, training, and retaining transitioning service members, veterans, and military spouses.
Serve as the primary liaison for a diverse portfolio of private and public‑sector employers, industry leaders, training providers, and resource partners.
Organize and lead impactful engagement opportunities, including hiring events, networking sessions, technical assistance workshops, and strategic roundtables.
Guide employers and partners through the V3 Certification process, ensuring compliance and fostering strong, sustainable relationships.
Recruit and collaborate with employers and strategic partners to develop internal career pathways, enhance military cultural competency, and strengthen external efforts to support the military‑affiliated talent pool.
Minimum Qualifications
Ability to manage administrative, planning, scheduling, operational and diverse programmatic activities.
Ability to manage multiple programs and/or projects simultaneously.
Demonstrated ability to manage a large portfolio of clients over an extended amount of time.
Demonstrated ability to interact with diverse constituencies and inter‑agency government officials to discuss administrative 들어, develop, and implement administrative policies and procedures.
Experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders to include state and local government.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated attention to detail and good organizational skills.
Prior experience providing training and instruction to adult learners.
Knowledge of best practices in recruiting, hiring, and retaining members of the military community.
Additional Considerations Background in social services, business, public administration, education or combination of education and job experience. research, public policy, public administration, business, or related field or equivalent experience. Additional Considerations: Ability to build relationships and foster collaboration. Experience presenting to a variety of audiences.
