This role enables an associate to work virtually full‑time, with required in‑person training sessions. Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of a designated office unless an accommodation is granted.
Base Pay Range $68,400/yr – $112,860/yr
Location:
Virtual (eligible for on‑site only if within commuting distance)
Responsibilities
Respond to complex cases and account‑specific requests.
Use appropriate screening criteria to assess member needs.
Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and monitor effectiveness.
Support member access to quality, cost‑effective care.
Coordinate with internal and external resources and collaborate with providers.
Serve as a resource to other behavioral health case managers.
Assist with complex cases and participate in inter‑ and intradepartmental projects.
Minimum Requirements
MA/MSc in social work counseling or related behavioral health field, or nursing degree with ≥3 years of experience in psychiatric/substance abuse treatment (or equivalent education‑experience combo).
Current active unrestricted license (RN, LCSW, LMSW, LMHC, LPC, LBA, LMFT, or Clinical Psychologist) licensed to practice in applicable states.
License is required; in states without licensure, a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) is acceptable if meets specified criteria.
Experience in case management/utilization management with complex psychiatric/substance abuse cases.
Prior managed‑care experience.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experience
BCBA or LBA.
Medicaid experience.
