Customer Service Representative – Patient Registration
Location: Ascension Via Christi Hospital St. Francis.
Shift Hours: Full Time – 10:00 AM to 10:30 PM. Rotating schedule: Week 1 – Monday, Tuesday, Saturday; Week 2 – Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday.

Overview As a Customer Service Representative, you will help patients check in to the hospital. The role is fast‑paced, requiring quick learning of technology, typing and phone skills, and the ability to listen with compassion. No prior healthcare experience is needed; training is provided. You must be up‑to‑date on vaccinations and pass a drug test and background check.
Responsibilities
Use computers and answer phones to intake patient and insurance information in a busy environment.
Maintain accuracy while working across multiple programs and screens.
Provide emotional support to patients who are ill or anxious, asking follow‑up questions and building rapport.
Handle interruptions from clinicians and adjust to a fast‑paced, on‑feet work environment.
Collaborate with a supportive team focused on career development.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED.
Excellent customer service experience.
Compensation Base pay range: $14.00 – $18.24 per hour, based on role, level, location, and experience.
