Role: Contact Centre Advisor Location: Bedford College – Cauldwell Street Campus Salary/Benefits: Salary is between £25,585 and £30,915 per annum DOE and Qualifications, 27 days annual leave plus Bank holidays, People’s pension, Retail and Leisure Discounts, excellent professional and personal development opportunities, accessing college courses. Hours/Weeks: 37 hours per week – 52 weeks per year Contract Type: Permanent – Full Time Right to Work: This is a UK based contract, you must have the Right to Work in the UK. About The Role

Deliver Professional IAG Service – Provide accurate, impartial advice on courses and college services via phone, email, WhatsApp, and Live Chat, ensuring a positive first point of contact.

Support Learner Journey – Guide prospective students from enquiry to enrolment, resolve complex queries, and maintain CRM records for all interactions.

Maintain Knowledge & Processes – Stay updated on courses, funding, admissions policies, and GDPR; contribute to FAQs and process improvements.

Drive Customer Experience & KPIs – Meet targets for advice quality, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction; support events and marketing activities.

Uphold College Standards – Promote safeguarding, equality, health & safety, and engage in continuous training and professional development.

About You

Essential Qualifications – Level 3 education (A-Levels or equivalent), GCSE English and Maths A*-C, and willingness to achieve Level 4 IAG qualification.

Administrative & Customer Service Experience – Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality service in a busy environment.

Strong Communication & IT Skills – Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and proficiency in IT systems with ability to learn quickly.

Organisational & Analytical Ability – Skilled in planning, attention to detail, data analysis, and building effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Professional & Flexible – Maintains confidentiality, promotes safeguarding and equality, and demonstrates adaptability with travel and varied work patterns.
