Retail Supervisor - Inventory
Part‑time position at WIS International located in Fargo, ND. The role focuses on coaching and training inventory associates to achieve operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Coach and train Inventory Associates – accuracy is critical.
Follow a clear, consistent workflow and serve as the primary point of contact for event‑related concerns.
Lead and engage the team to maximize productivity, foster engagement, and support directives from the Area or District Manager.
Uphold and promote WIS core values: Service, Pride, Integrity, Results, Innovation, and Teamwork in a positive, safe, and inclusive environment.
Act as backup to the Area Manager at inventory events.
Lead on‑site inventories in conjunction with the Area Manager, using WIS standardized processes.
Assist with planning and execution of district travel and equipment logistics.
Ensure Inventory Associates understand event procedures and receive guidance on each event.
Demonstrate safe behaviors at all times and ensure the safety of all associates at an event.
Act as an expert on WIS core values, safety protocols, and policies.
Qualifications
Minimum age 18.
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 2 years of experience as an Inventory Associate or similar role.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong time‑management skills.
Effective customer service and conflict resolution skills focused on providing solutions.
Ability to work flexibleted schedules, including varying hours for district and customer commitments.
Physical ability to stand, walk, remain active during shifts; lift and carry up to 25 lbs.; perform repetitive motions with both hands and wrists.
Comfortable learning handheld scanners or count tools.
Strong focus and attention to detail.
Reliable attendance and commitment to consistency.
Positive, team‑oriented attitude.
Access to reliable transportation.
Willingness to submit to a pre‑employment investigative consumer report and drug screen if required.
Valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, or meeting WIS fleet driver requirements may be required.
Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered under LA County FCO and the California Fair Chance Act.
