Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with a MA license and at least 1 year of home health experience for a float position in the North Region. Responsibilities Work in home health settings providing care to patients in their residences Float between assignments within the North Region Patient population includes individuals of all ages with physical impairments, functional limitations, or disabilities Standard work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Weekend rotation is required once every 6 weeks EPIC charting is utilized for documentation Provide physical therapy assessments, implement interventions, and maintain electronic documentation in accordance with agency standards Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and allied health professionals to coordinate comprehensive care Flu vaccine required during flu season with no religious or medical exemptions allowed Parking at Boston area locations is not validated and may incur daily fees; public transportation and public lots are options Two professional references are required for consideration Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from central Boston; different pay rate may apply First-time travelers will be considered for this position Requirements Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in Massachusetts required; MA conditional licenses not accepted; license required if applicable Minimum 1 year of recent home care experience required Certifications must be from the American Heart Association Proof of flu vaccination required; no exemptions are permitted Ability to travel to patient locations within the assigned region Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
