Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of recent home health experience and a Massachusetts PT license for a float position in the North Region. Responsibilities Work is based in a home health setting covering areas including Beverly, Marblehead, Salem, and Swampscott This is a float Physical Therapist assignment supporting the North Region team Expected to provide care to patients ranging in age from birth to over 100 years Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, with weekend rotations every 6 weeks Use of Epic EMR is required for documentation Ability to travel to patient residences as assigned is necessary Primary responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients with physical impairments, functional limitations, or disabilities in their home Role involves collaboration with patients, families, physicians, and allied health professionals to coordinate care Requires timely and thorough completion of electronic documentation in alignment with agency policies and standards Weekend shift participation is required once every 6 weeks Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, and local rates apply Parking options may require out-of-pocket costs; public transportation and parking lots are available in some areas Epic EMR experience is preferred Flu vaccination required for employment Requirements Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist license required; MA conditional licenses are not accepted Minimum of 1 year recent home care experience as a PT Certification must be from the American Heart Association Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and document care electronically Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed License required if applicable Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
