Central Virginia Community College (CVCC) located in Lynchburg, Virginia seeks a Facilities Supervisor to oversee the maintenance, repair, and improvement of campus buildings, grounds, and related facilities. The position supports a busy two‑year institution with approximately 5,000 students in technical and transfer programs.
Plan, organize, and perform maintenance and repairs for college campus buildings and grounds.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to in‑house trades/operations staff, outside contractors and vendors on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural issues.
Respond to work orders and emergency calls, performing occasional hands‑on tasks as needed.
Maintain records, issue work orders, develop preventive maintenance schedules, and manage material cost and inventory.
