JOB SUMMARY Perform monitoring of the Fabrication and shipping personnel, processes and product to ensure that they meet GMP’s, SSOP’s, HACCP, and regulatory requirements.
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO
Monitor, and document pre-operational and operational SSOP deficiencies
Monitor, and document other deficiencies within the plant related to sanitation of the facility
Monitor, and document all deficiencies with respect to the GMP’s and other plant programs
Perform direct observations for CCP’s in the HACCP monitoring as needed
Assist in dealings with USDA as needed.
Report observations to Quality Assurance, Food Safety and Operations Management personnel.
Assist Management in initiatives to improve the overall Food Safety objectives of the company.
Any other duties assigned.

Auditing of records of the assigned areas
Delivery of results
Team player with all groups of the operation
Accountable for oral and written communication of data and records
Working with limited supervision
Ability to act to withhold areas and floors when necessary from production
Good math, reading and writing skills.
EQUIPMENT USED
All necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) for area assigned.
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS
High school Diploma or a minimum of 3 years experience in QA or Food Safety
One-year meat industry experience
Ability to speak and write English
General knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and SSOP programs
May require a flexible work schedule
