A successful Chicago Trade shop is urgently looking to bring on an experienced Trade Support Engineer to their team. The support team is the first line of defense for real-time trading and system issues and they're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple priorities, and takes pride in solving complex technical challenges.

Required Skills & Experience 3+ years of IT Support experience
in a Trade Environment 4 years Bachelor's Degree years of Break/Fix PC and Mobile device experience Experience working with and troubleshooting Trade Applications Deep familiarity with FIX protocol Exposure to SQL or JSON servers Strong ability to fill multiple tickets in a fast paced environment Desired Skills & Experience
Scripting/Coding using C# Series 7 or Series 63 certifications Ability to fill out documentation What You Will Be Doing Tech Breakdown
40% Application Trade Support (GUI) 30% Device Troubleshooting (TeamViewer, Active Directory, ) 20% Connectivity and Integration (FIX Protocol, Network Diagnostics) Daily Responsibilities
Provide
Level 1 and Level 2 support
for trade issues, connectivity, and application performance Troubleshoot system and order flow issues across SpiderRock's proprietary trading platform Investigate routing problems with brokers and exchanges Conduct QA testing for trading tools, algorithms, and risk systems Assist with
client onboarding , configuration, and account setup Collaborate closely with Enterprise Ops, Sales, and Dev teams Help
train junior analysts
