POSITIONSUMMARY:

The primary purpose of this position is to administer theCenter for Catholica Faith and Culture (CCFC) initiatives including lectureseries, internal grant programs, and grant seeking. This role will serve tosupport mission-driven teaching and research and Spiritan inspired projectsthrough programming that better informs our faculty on Spiritan pedagogy. The position will work primarily withfaculty. The role will also support other duties as assigned in the office ofMission Animation.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Administer center initiatives including but notlimited to lecture series and workshops for faculty.

Overseeingendowment currently associated with the CCFC.

Workcollaboratively with units outside of the Division of Mission and Identity, inparticular the Department of Theology, that are already working to supportmission-drive teaching and research.

Workcollaboratively with units within the Division of Mission and Identity insupport of campus-wide initiatives aimed at increasing understanding of ourmission

Upkeep social media andwebsite for CCFC

Completes other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum qualifications:

Doctoral degree in Theology from an accredited institution.

Preferredqualifications:

Alternately, the successful candidate may possess any equivalent combination ofexperience and training, which provides the knowledge, skills and abilitiesrequired to perform the essential job functions. This includes, but is notlimited to, the following:

Knowledge of faculty programming andability to plan and execute events for both full time and adjunct faculty.

Knowledge of or ability to learn varioussoftware packages to perform duties including Microsoft Office, Canva, andmainframe applications at the university.

Ability to create and maintain effectiveworking relationships with faculty and administrators across divisions.

Ability to be adaptable and flexiblewith the nature of changing campus needs

Ability and willingness to work eveningsas needed and required.

Deep knowledge of the Catholic faith andits traditions.Commitment to theUniversity's values of diversity, equity and inclusion, and recognition of theimportance of treating each individual with dignity and respect consistent withthe University's Mission.
