The Parking Operations Planning and Analysis division of DOT’s Traffic Operations handles parking tasks related to the city’s meters, mobile payment app, garages, and permits. Parking Operations generates over $265M annually, manages a $32M OTPS budget, a $30M capital budget, and employs over 350 staff across 9 groups. We seek an experienced candidate for the role of Executive Director (ED) of the Finance Group within Parking Operations. The ED reports to the Assistant Commissioner and oversees revenue and financial functions, including revenue reporting, reconciliation, adjustments, budgeting, contract administration, and customer service. The four units reporting to the ED handle revenue from meters, apps, garages, permits, adjustments, projections, permit sales, budgeting, contract administration, and HR functions. The revenue reconciliation unit manages cash, credit payments, and revenue reports from all sources, totaling over $265 million annually. The Finance Group comprises 30 employees performing critical tasks aligned with City Comptroller’s directives. The ED manages staff involved in cash and credit reconciliation, revenue analysis, liaising with city budget offices, and managing banking relationships, including credit card processing and vendor issues.
