Position Description Kinder Morgan Treating is a leading manufacturer and the largest provider of contract-operated natural gas treating plants in the United States. We design and build treating and processing plants to ensure that natural gas and liquid hydrocarbons conform to sales pipeline specifications and downstream markets. Our mission is to provide the optimal solution to keep your hydrocarbons flowing. Primary Responsibilities
Oversee our gas-treating equipment fabrication facility’s daily operations, ensuring products meet or exceed customer requirements and comply with all project specifications, codes, standards, and regulations. Lead fabrication, supply chain, team management, and final product delivery strategies. Ensure all fabrication projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards. Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and quality control teams to manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables. Reporting and Oversight The Director of Operations reports to the General Manager and is responsible for safety, facilities, maintenance, regulatory compliance, budgeting, personnel, training, emergency response, project oversight, production scheduling, and inventory control within KMTO’s fabrication operations. Operational Goals
Maintain site health, safety, and environmental performance. Manage multiple projects and changing priorities effectively. Drive continuous improvement and productivity while adhering to safety standards. Ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards. Align with corporate and division goals, develop personnel, and manage budgets. Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Operations Management. At least 5 years of management experience, including manufacturing leadership. Minimum 10 years of experience in gas treating equipment manufacturing and fabrication operations, with knowledge of hydraulics, metallurgy, welding, and regulatory standards. Knowledge of ASME codes and standards. Certifications and Skills
Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record. Experience with Six Sigma and Lean methodologies. Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills. Working Conditions
Primarily office and shop floor environment, with outdoor exposure to extreme weather. Some travel to headquarters or customer sites. Benefits
