Full Stack Software Engineer

to support the developing and modernization of communications capabilities for a United States Space Force Radar system. The successful candidates will coordinate and integrate work across legacy platforms. The team provides support to enhance and develop new applications, analytics, and services for the customer and to modernize capabilities through an agile, evolving requirement identification and prioritization process. The successful candidate will be a generalist who understands the interactions between front and back end and can put together an entire application. This position will be a hybrid opportunity with on site support as required by the customer at Peterson SFB, Colorado Springs, CO. Candidates must be located physically in the Colorado Springs, CO area or surrounding areas.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent 10+ years of experience as Software or Systems Engineers Provable experience specifically with C++ and Object Oriented Programming including CORBA Previous experience developing software in an Agile environment Ability to convey complex ideas through conversation, briefings, and writing with clear, concise language US Citizenship and ability to be clearable up to the Secret Clearance level Desired Qualifications: Experience with TCP/IP programming experience Experience with Refactoring code Monoliths to Service Oriented Architectures or Microservice Architectures Experience using modern software development languages and frameworks to include Previous experience working in a DoD software development environment Willingness to submit for a government security clearance Existing Clearance at Secret or above This position is located in Colorado Springs, CO.
