Job Opportunity at the State of Hawai'i
The State of Hawai'i is seeking candidates for various positions. This recruitment is taking place at the Maui Community Correctional Center in Wailuku, Maui. Applicants must be willing and able to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The Cook II position is at the fully competent level and is responsible for independently cooking a variety of entrees and other principal meal items. This role may involve supervising kitchen and cook helpers and performing other related duties as assigned. To qualify, you must meet all of the following requirements: Legal Authorization to Work Requirement, General Experience, and Drivers License. The State of Hawaii requires all persons seeking employment to be citizens, nationals, or permanent resident aliens of the United States, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment in the United States. General Experience includes two years of progressively responsible experience which demonstrated knowledge and skill to perform general quantity cooking duties. Some positions require a valid drivers license.
