About the Role: The Senior Quality Systems Manager will provide management of a functional area that results in the implementation and achievement of vision, mission, and functional objectives. This position is responsible for overseeing and directing quality and regulatory compliance in a functional group. Plans, develops, manages the Quality organization to assure the continuance of qualified and efficient staff to meet Corporate, FDA, and ISO requirements. Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position at this time. Your Responsibilities Will Include: Recruits, coaches and develops organizational talent. Fosters a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives. Creates an entrepreneurial environment. Manages external and internal Quality System audits by preparing the organization, developing a plan with resourcing, and executing the audit. Provides direction and guidance to exempt specialists and/or supervisory staff who exercise significant latitude and independence in their assignments. May supervise non-exempt employees. Demonstrates effective change leadership. Builds strategic partnerships to further departmental and organizational objectives. Develops and executes organizational and operational policies that affect one or more groups by utilizing technical/professional knowledge and skills. Monitors compliance with company policies and procedures (e.g., compliance with FDA, BSI, EEO regulations, etc.). Makes decisions regarding work processes or operational plans and schedules in order to achieve department objectives. Develops, monitors, and appropriately adjusts the annual budget for department(s). Approves documents defining the Quality System. Participates with manufacturing management at all levels in problems of quality and reliability. Reviews Quality Assurance Manuals for updating in line with product and policy changes. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree Minimum of 8 years of related experience Minimum of 2 years of direct leadership experience External audit (EU, FDA, etc.) experience Preferred Qualifications: Strong interpersonal skills, ability to influence and work with others in a positive and collaborative manner Excellent communication and presentation skills both written & oral Ability to manage multiple projects Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs.
