Job Description American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with ARRT (CT) and SCRQSA (CT) certification for a Level III Trauma acute care hospital, with weekend shifts and occasional weekday on-call.

Responsibilities Work in a Level III Trauma, acute care hospital with 286 staffed bedsCT department serving patient populations from newborn through geriatricsPerforms inpatient, outpatient (Friday only), ER, and scheduled interventional cases (Friday only)Utilizes PACS system and Epic charting (Epic preferred)Shift is Friday through Sunday, 6:00 AM to 6:30 PMOn-call rotation among staff Monday through Thursday with coverage typically every 4-5 weeksNo floating to other service lines or sister facilitiesRadiation badge must be supplied by agencyResponsibilities include performing high-quality CT exams in accordance with established protocols for physician interpretationWork involves direct patient care in various settings including trauma and ERCollaboration with a team led by the CT supervisor and radiology managerTeal top and black bottom scrubs requiredAll staff may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November)All requested time off must be submitted with application and is subject to approval based on facility needsPrevious employees must have a 1-year separation before returning as a travelerApplicants within a 60-mile radius considered at a local rate
