Role Summary The Human Resources Manager will lead and direct the operational functions of the HR department, acting as a strategic partner to the Sales or Supply site. With a focus on fostering a high-performance culture and optimizing HR processes, this role will have significant agency in shaping HR initiatives that support business objectives. The HR Manager will take ownership of day-to-day HR operations, driving impactful changes and solutions, and will be empowered to make decisions that enhance employee experience and business outcomes. As a proactive leader, the HR Manager will oversee employee relations, talent acquisition, and compliance while also supporting the implementation of HR programs that align with the company’s goals. This role requires a dynamic individual who can navigate complex HR issues and act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees. The individual will combine strategic thinking with hands-on operational excellence, ensuring that HR activities contribute to the overall success of the division or local site. Key Accountabilities include: Take ownership of employee lifecycle management: Oversee employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a seamless experience that adheres to company procedures and standards. Lead HR operations with autonomy: Manage day-to-day HR operations independently, ensuring efficient delivery of services in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. Strategic HR partner to supply leadership: Act as the primary HR advisor to the supply leadership team, leveraging expertise to drive business objectives and cultivate a high-performance culture. Own talent acquisition strategy: Lead and refine the talent acquisition process, working closely with hiring managers to proactively identify and attract top talent for key roles at all levels. Champion employee engagement and retention: Develop and implement strategies to retain top talent, foster engagement, and promote a high-performing workforce. Drive succession planning and talent development: Partner with HR leadership, talent acquisition, and site leadership to design and execute succession planning and development programs, ensuring a strong pipeline of future leaders. Data-driven HR leadership: Develop and analyze HR metrics and trends to provide actionable insights and recommendations that enhance decision-making and support continuous improvement. Empower employee relations and performance management: Take full ownership of employee relations, lead investigations, advise on resolutions, and implement performance strategies that elevate leadership capability. Ensure compliance across regions: Maintain compliance with employment laws at all levels, updating policies and practices accordingly. Architect learning and development: Design and deliver impactful training programs aligned with organizational needs. Process improvement advocate: Collaborate with HR operations to drive efficiency and innovation within HR processes. HR technology leader: Manage HRIS and other HR technologies, ensuring data accuracy and leveraging technology to optimize HR operations. Change management leader: Support and lead change initiatives related to organizational restructuring, mergers, and transformations, ensuring smooth transitions. Skills/Experience Extensive experience in a similar role, ideally within manufacturing. A diverse range of educational backgrounds and professional experiences is welcomed. Degrees or certifications in HR, Business, or related fields are valued, but unique career paths and life experiences are also appreciated. Experience working within a matrix organization is highly advantageous. Commercial experience as part of a senior leadership team. Transformation experience, especially in growing organizations. Leadership with an inclusive mindset, valuing diverse perspectives and driving organizational change. Agility in adjusting to evolving business needs and environments.
