Our Story . Role Overview
The BCL will work closely with the Fisheries Business Class Director and peers to execute fisheries facilities design projects, focusing on technical development, project oversight, and team mentoring. Key responsibilities include overseeing project delivery, engineering design of fish hatcheries, aquaculture systems, and related water resource projects, with experience in design standards, digital modeling, and cross-disciplinary coordination. Your Responsibilities
Lead business development efforts, including client interaction, scope development, and strategic planning. Review and contribute to marketing proposals, technical scopes, and project planning documents. Coordinate team functions, project assignments, and interdepartmental interactions. Ensure quality control in hatchery design and implement design standards and BIM practices. Lead technical design tasks, perform engineering design, and develop technical skills. Preferred Qualifications
15+ years in engineering design related to fish hatcheries, aquaculture, or water systems. PE licensure and NCEES registration. Experience in plan development, BIM software (Revit, Civil 3D), and water resource infrastructure. Master’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Structural Engineering. Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and in teams. Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field. At least 10 years of relevant experience. Professional registration and technical expertise. Leadership experience in managing diverse teams. Additional Information
