Client Systems Engineer
Position Summary As a Client Systems Engineer, you'll apply your problem-solving skills to get Epic's software into clinicians' and patients' hands, allowing them to use our tools to provide amazing care. You will collaborate with your customers' Windows server administrators to build a fast, reliable infrastructure that provides clinicians quick access to critical patient information whenever and wherever they need it. You will establish strong, long-term relationships with our customers, communicating with them as they install, troubleshoot, and upgrade our software. You'll work with our customers, technical teams at Epic, and other healthcare hardware and software vendors to build technical solutions that enable cutting-edge tools to drive healthcare forward. You'll make recommendations for best practices to ensure their long-term success. Our work impacts every area of Epic. As part of the team, you will collaborate with developers, technical support, software testers, and implementation specialists across the company. You will learn the inner workings of Epic software, Windows and other operating systems, virtualization and cloud technologies, networking, cybersecurity, mobile devices, and more. You'll build valuable, industry-wide skills while doing high-stakes, critical work that allows healthcare providers to deliver the best possible care for every patient. Bachelor's degree or higher in information technology, information systems, engineering, math, physics, or hard sciences preferred A record of academic and professional success Strong analytical and reasoning skills Knowledge of Windows servers or experience with desktop administration is a plus, but not necessary Willingness to occasionally travel to customer locations Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship Relocation to Madison, WI area (reimbursed) COVID-19 vaccination
