Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the health status of patients, identifying immediate and long-term needs, and making necessary referrals.
- Perform thorough physical examinations, document health histories, and formulate treatment plans based on collected data.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including specialists and other healthcare professionals to develop optimal care strategies.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures to support therapeutic recommendations.
- Ensure understanding of acute health needs, providing education on health promotion and disease prevention.
- Lead and supervise mid-level providers, including Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.
- Promote a culture of team spirit and collaboration to achieve healthcare goals effectively.
- Participate in and maintain all safety training and procedures, including exposure control for pathogens.
- Medical Doctor with current and active licensure.
- Active DEA registration.
- Proficiency in Legacy Community Health's EPIC systems.
- Eligibility and participation in Medicare and Medicaid Programs as well as other federal and state reimbursement programs.
