We're seeking a dynamic Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician to become a vital part of a large Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) located in the heart of a medically underserved community. Your Impactful Role Includes:
  • Deliver comprehensive medical care by evaluating, treating, and managing adult patients.
  • Conduct screenings for chronic diseases to ensure early intervention and management.
  • Engage in resident teaching and preceptorship to cultivate future healthcare leaders.
  • Supervise and mentor healthcare students, fostering a learning-rich environment.
  • Be available for scheduled clinic hours, on-call services, and participate in after-hours clinical or operations-related meetings to maintain seamless healthcare service delivery.
Skills & Expertise We Seek:
  • Medical Doctorate with a commitment to excellence in patient care.
  • Current Texas medical licensure, ensuring compliance with state medical standards.
  • Valid DEA license to prescribe necessary medications.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) to respond adequately in emergencies.
  • Experience working within community healthcare settings, enriching patient interactions and outcomes.
  • Bilingual skills, preferably Spanish-speaking, to effectively communicate in a diverse community.
