We are seeking a forward-thinking Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to empower our diverse communities through comprehensive health care services. Based at 3811 Lyons Ave., Houston, TX, this role is integral to meeting the growing pediatric health demands and ensuring exceptional care for our youngest patients.

Key Responsibilities- Initiate comprehensive assessments of pediatric patients' health status, ranging from focused to in-depth evaluations.
- Collaborate continuously on the assessment of patient services, identifying areas for improvement and innovation.
- Contribute to clinic development and the implementation of impactful healthcare solutions.
- Engage in consultations with colleagues and specialists to optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient care documentation.
- Deliver comprehensive assessments, treatments, and medical services to clinic patients, including telephonic consultations and referrals.
- Evaluate laboratory and testing results, ensuring prompt follow-up on abnormal values.
- Empower patients with education on health promotion, disease prevention, and maintenance strategies.
- Obtain detailed patient health histories and conduct diagnostic tests as required.
- Formulate and follow up on patient treatment plans to provide timely and necessary health services.
- Prescribe medications and order therapeutic equipment within the scope of practice.
- Advocate fervently for patient rights, delivering primary clinical therapy and treatment.
- Hold a current, unrestricted Texas advanced practice license.
- Possession of an active DEA registration.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMRs), with Epic being preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an Advanced Practice Provider in a relevant setting.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred, enhancing community communication and care.
