This position is critical in delivering high-quality patient care in an Intensive Care Unit setting. As an ICU RN, you will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care needs for critically ill patients. Key Responsibilities: - Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, administering medications and IV therapies as prescribed.- Take charge of drip titration and nursing roles in ventilator management.- Utilize critical care equipment, including but not limited to balloon pumps and Impella devices (experience preferred).- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and manage individualized care plans.- Document all patient interactions and interventions accurately and in a timely manner using MedHost EMR.- Adhere to established infection control protocols and safety standards. Qualifications: - Minimum of 1 year of critical care experience required.- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.- Experience with balloon pumps, Impella devices, and trauma care is preferred.- TNCC certification is a plus.- Flexibility to float to different units as needed.- Ability to work the designated night shift from 6 PM to 6 AM, including weekends.
