About The Glass Guru
nThe Glass Guru is a growing national franchise brand in the home services industry, committed to quality, ethics, and supporting franchisee success long-term. We are headquartered in Plano, TX, and looking for a dedicated Director of Franchise Development to manage and execute our franchise sales pipeline while building strong relationships with industry professionals.
nPosition Summary
nIn this role, you will manage the end-to-end franchise sales process—from initial inquiry to signed agreement—while representing The Glass Guru with professionalism and integrity. You will serve as the primary point of contact for prospective franchisees, maintain regular communication, and work closely with third-party brokers, consultants, and funding professionals to educate and convert qualified leads into new franchise partners.
nKey Responsibilities
n· Serve as the primary point of contact for all incoming franchise leads and referrals.
n· Build and maintain relationships with franchise brokers, consultants, and funding professionals to increase lead flow and pipeline quality.
n· Conduct initial outreach and qualification of prospects based on established criteria.
n· Arrange for engaging presentations by internal staff and guide candidates through the franchise discovery process, including Discovery Day/Meet The Team Day and documentation.
n· Coordinate with internal departments (Legal, Compliance, Franchise Support) to ensure all steps are completed and candidates are properly qualified, approved, and onboarded.
n· Respond to inquiries promptly and professionally, maintaining a high standard of ethical sales practices.
n· Participate in franchise expos, virtual presentations, and industry events, as needed, to promote brand awareness and lead generation.
n· Maintain accurate activity tracking in CRM and provide regular pipeline reports to leadership.
n· Ensure all communications and representations remain compliant with franchise disclosure law and state regulations as well as The Glass Guru’s FDD.
nQualifications
n· Bachelor’s Degree (Business, Marketing, or related field preferred).
n· 10+ years of sales experience, with a REQUIREMENT of some experience in franchise sales environments.
n· Proven ability to manage and close a high-volume sales pipeline.
n· Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build lasting relationships across multiple stakeholders.
n· Detail-oriented with high integrity—must be comfortable delivering both positive and candid information as needed.
n· Proficiency in CRM platforms, video conferencing tools, and Google.
n· Must be able to operate at the highest of ethical standards even to the demise of potential sales – we care about franchisee trust, satisfaction, growth, and support long-term – not just securing unit numbers.
nPreferred Qualifications
n· Franchise development and broker network experience.
n· Understanding of the franchise disclosure and onboarding process.
n· Experience in the home services or residential trades industries.
n· Familiarity with ClientTether or similar franchise sales CRM platforms.
n· Familiarity with franchise territory mapping software.
