Job Description
This Manufacturing Engineer role focuses on developing, optimizing, and supporting CNC-based manufacturing processes within a machining environment. The engineer will work cross-functionally to ensure smooth production launches, improve existing workflows, and support documentation and tooling strategies.
A successful Manufacturing Engineer candidate will be hands-on and capable of driving process improvements in a fast-paced setting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Creating and modifying CNC programs and tooling plans for complex machined components.
- Supporting production runs and working directly with machinists.
- Participating in design for manufacturability reviews and improvement initiatives.
- Preparing and maintaining technical documentation.

The Successful Applicant
The ideal Manufacturing Engineer is hands-on with a strong foundation in CNC programming and process development, They bring a practical understanding of machining operations, are comfortable working closely with machinists on the shop floor, and possess the communication skills needed to document and improve manufacturing workflows.
Manufacturing Engineer candidates will typically have:
- 3+ years of experience in a CNC machining or precision manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in CAM software, 3D CAD tools, and dimensional inspection techniques
- B.S. in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- Strong problem-solving skills and an improvement mindset
- The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments
