Laundry Supervisor Opportunity

The Laundry Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the laundry department to ensure efficient, timely, and high-quality cleaning and distribution of linens, uniforms, and other laundry items. This role includes supervising laundry staff, maintaining equipment, enforcing safety and hygiene standards, and managing inventory. A typical day for the Laundry Supervisor includes: Supervising, training, and scheduling laundry staff to ensure optimal coverage and performance. Monitoring workflow and productivity to meet daily laundry processing requirements. Ensuring all laundry is cleaned, dried, folded, and distributed in a timely manner. Inspecting laundry items for quality and cleanliness standards; taking corrective action as needed. Maintaining equipment and coordinating repairs or servicing as necessary. Enforcing workplace safety procedures and proper handling of chemicals and equipment. Managing inventory of laundry supplies and placing orders as needed. Maintaining records of laundry loads, staff schedules, maintenance logs, and supply usage. Ensuring compliance with hygiene, infection control, and sanitation regulations. You might be the professional we're looking for if you have: Authorization to permanently work in the United States without sponsorship. High school diploma or equivalent. 2+ years of experience in laundry services, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role. Knowledge of commercial laundry equipment and chemicals. Strong organizational and leadership skills. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Basic computer skills for scheduling, reporting, and inventory tracking.
