IT Network Support Specialist

About the Role
We're seeking a skilled IT Field Support Specialist to join a mid-sized, service-driven technical team supporting users across both central and remote locations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on problem-solving, values strong internal customer relationships, and thrives in a collaborative, IT-centric environment.
You'll play a critical role in supporting the daily operations of end-user devices, network connectivity, and system access; helping ensure mission-critical services continue without disruption.
What You'll Do
Provide technical support for desktop computers, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
Troubleshoot endpoint, printer, network, and MDM (iPhone) issues, both onsite and remotely
Manage tickets and document resolutions using an internal ticketing system
Monitor for cybersecurity threats and respond to potential vulnerabilities
Participate in inventory control and manage IT assets across various office sites
Maintain and update Active Directory user accounts, group memberships, and SCCM configurations
Assist in device setups, imaging, and new employee technology onboarding
Collaborate with helpdesk personnel and provide Tier 2 support when needed
Deliver documentation, user training, and weekly status updates to leadership
What You Bring
Experience providing enterprise desktop support in a Windows 10/11 environment
Ability to manage Active Directory objects and perform SCCM tasks
Familiarity with group policy, Windows security settings, and network troubleshooting
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (email, phone, and in-person)
Ability to manage time effectively and work independently across multiple locations
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with virtual environments, database, and storage systems
Experience with Windows Server 2019, Microsoft 365, and VoIP technologies
A proactive, self-motivated approach with a willingness to take ownership
Certifications such as A+, Network+, Security+, or MCSA (Windows 10) are a plus
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
Equivalent work experience will also be considered
