6R Hospitality is a growing New York City-based restaurant group rooted in soulful Mediterranean cuisine, warm hospitality, and vibrant, community-centered spaces. Our restaurants include multiple beloved locations of Miriam, 1803 in Tribeca, and Rafael on the Upper East Side, with more growth on the horizon.
We are seeking experienced and passionate General Managers to help lead our dynamic operations and bring the 6R culture to life across our family of restaurants.
About the Role
As a General Manager, you will be the driving force behind your restaurant’s success—setting the tone for team culture, service excellence, and day-to-day operations. You will lead a passionate front-of-house team, partner closely with culinary leaders, and champion an environment rooted in accountability, empowerment, and hospitality.
This is a hands-on, guest-facing leadership role best suited to individuals who thrive in high-energy spaces, love developing teams, and are passionate about delivering consistently exceptional dining experiences.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a positive, inclusive, and team-focused culture
- Hire, train, and mentor a high-performing FOH team
- Uphold clear service standards and foster a feedback-driven workplace
- Lead daily operations, ensuring excellence in guest service and team performance
- Collaborate with culinary leadership to ensure seamless FOH-BOH alignment
- Monitor financials, including labor, inventory, and controllable costs
- Conduct regular performance check-ins and provide coaching and recognition
- Ensure full compliance with all health, labor, and safety regulations
What You Bring
- 5+ years of experience as a GM or AGM in high-volume, full-service restaurants
- A proven track record of building motivated, guest-focused teams
- Strong leadership and communication skills with a hands-on approach
- Passion for food, beverage, and hospitality—especially Mediterranean cuisine
- Financial literacy and the ability to manage budgets and P&Ls
- Proficiency with POS, scheduling, and inventory systems
- Experience with restaurant openings is a strong plus
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive base salary: $100,000–$120,000, depending on experience
