The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the delivery of quality patient care and ensuring adherence to the nursing care plan. As an RN, you will supervise Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and orientees while embodying the principles of patient safety and effective communication. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments for all patients within 8 hours of admission to develop individualized care plans.- Identify teaching needs and goals for each patient collaboratively with patients and their families, along with the interdisciplinary team.- Provide timely patient information and updates during Initial and Re-evaluation Team Conferences.- Accurately document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses in electronic medical records.- Engage in patient rehabilitation programs, prioritizing education for patients, families, and significant others to foster effective care management.- Initiate discharge planning from the day of admission and guide patient education in anticipation of discharge.- Ensure continuity of care by effectively communicating any significant changes in a patient's condition to other care providers.- Offer direction, training, and supervision to nursing personnel, demonstrating strong organizational and prioritization skills.- Uphold safety standards and policies within the work environment for both patients and staff.- Contribute positively to unit dynamics while maintaining effective communication with management regarding supplies and clinical training needs.- Assume charge nurse responsibilities as requested after the completion of the orientation period.- Pursue ongoing professional growth and development through continuing education and self-study.- Carefully manage time and staffing resources to meet patient needs efficiently. Qualifications: - Current RN license with appropriate state board.- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required prior to the first shift.- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required prior to the first shift (for specific facilities).- Minimum of two (2) years of bedside clinical experience is highly desired.At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
