Senior Manager - Operations Policy And Process Governance - Last Mile Delivery - Trust And Safety
We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Senior Manager to lead Policy Governance within Walmart's Last Mile Delivery (LMD) Trust & Safety team. This role will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and overseeing governance frameworks for policies that support safe, fair, and compliant operations. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in policy development, risk mitigation, and regulatory alignment, along with strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Policy Governance Leadership Lead the development, implementation, and lifecycle management of Trust & Safety policies. Ensure policies are clear, consistent, and aligned with legal, regulatory, and operational standards. Maintain a centralized repository of policies with version control and audit trails. Policy Review & Compliance Conduct regular reviews and audits of existing policies to ensure relevance and effectiveness. Monitor compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Risk teams to ensure policy alignment and mitigate risks. Change Management & Communication Oversee policy change processes, including stakeholder reviews, approvals, and documentation. Develop and deliver training and communication plans to support policy adoption and awareness. Serve as a point of contact for policy-related inquiries and guidance. Cross-functional Collaboration Collaborate with operational, legal, and compliance teams to gather feedback and identify policy gaps. Support the integration of policy requirements into operational workflows and tools. Facilitate working groups or committees focused on policy governance and continuous improvement. What you'll bring: 57 years of experience in policy governance, regulatory compliance, risk management, or a related field. Strong understanding of governance frameworks and policy lifecycle management. Excellent organizational, analytical, and project management skills. Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence without authority. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Experience in Trust & Safety, operations, or highly regulated environments. Familiarity with policy management tools or governance platforms.
