As a Director, Finance - Sam's Finance Transformation, you will play a key leadership role in shaping and executing the transformation agenda for our segment Finance organization. This high-impact, high-visibility role is designed for a strategic, execution-minded leader who can guide cross-functional workstreams, influence executive stakeholders, and bring modern capabilities into the heart of Finance. You'll operate in a 4-in-a-box model with partners in Product, Engineering, Design, and Business, driving holistic transformation that balances enterprise alignment with segment-specific needs. From enabling self-service data assets and implementing advanced planning tools to fostering behavioral change and modern ways of working, you'll be instrumental in helping Finance teams unlock capacity and focus more on strategic insights than manual tasks. What You'll Do

Key Responsibilities Strategy & Roadmap Execution Define and execute a multi-year transformation roadmap focused on foundational data, automation, planning tools, and GenAI use cases. Prioritize short-term wins that build momentum while keeping a clear eye on long-term vision and value creation. Align initiatives to enterprise transformation goals, while preserving a strong segment-specific voice and ensuring relevance to business partners. Cross-Functional Leadership Lead large-scale initiatives across Finance, Merchandising, Operations, eCommerce, and Supply Chain. Serve as a strategic thought partner to senior Finance and business leaders, including regular engagement with the segment CFO and other executive stakeholders. Guide the work of several associates without formal people leadershipcoaching, unblocking, and elevating outcomes. Data, Tools & Innovation Champion the development of finance-owned data assets that enable self-service analysis and automation. Partner with engineering and product to deploy new data assets and tools for Finance users. Stay curious about emerging technologies and test their relevance in real-world applicationsespecially those that reduce low-value work. Change Enablement & Culture Shift Partner with change management efforts including stakeholder communication, training, process redesign, and adoption. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, encouraging experimentation and learning across the team. Model resilience, listening, and adaptability, recognizing that transformation is iterative, non-linear, and requires trust-building. Preferred Qualifications 812+ years of experience in Finance, Strategy, Transformation, or related fields; Retail or Consumer Goods experience strongly preferred. Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional programs and influence without direct authority. Strong grasp of finance operations, planning processes, and data architecture. Expertise in or strong exposure to tools like SAP, Power BI, SQL, and finance-specific tech solutions. Demonstrated executive communication skills, with comfort preparing materials and presenting to senior leadership. Strong strategic thinking paired with a bias for action and agile execution. MBA, CPA, or equivalent advanced degree a plus. What You'll Bring A blend of financial acumen, operational depth, and digital fluency. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to a specific plan or program terms. The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 5 years' experience in accounting, finance, or relevant area OR 7 years' experience in accounting, finance, or related area. 2 years' supervisory experience. 2 years' experience leading and completing cross-functional projects.
