As part of the OTS team, you will provide essential global IT support integral to Amazon Operations, ensuring our systems run smoothly and efficiently. In the role of IT Support Engineer I, you will utilize your technical knowledge and skills to implement effective solutions and deliver top-notch support for various computer hardware, operating systems, and enterprise application software. When challenges arise, you will determine the best course of action to achieve optimal results, using your troubleshooting capabilities to solve straightforward problems in accordance with our standards. Key Responsibilities: Network engineering and troubleshooting, data cabling, and systems administration across diverse software and hardware environments. Ensure network infrastructure and computing systems remain available during production hours. Collaborate with management and staff to enhance IT solutions through analytical and technical support. Manage local technical projects effectively. Develop or maintain policies, procedures, and processes. Identify root causes of operational issues and find solutions to improve processes. Provide support to customers in multiple locations, including remote assistance. Travel within your designated area to meet customer needs. What We Offer: Competitive compensation packages. Basic Qualifications: 2+ years of troubleshooting in a multi-user high availability setting. 2+ years of experience in PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment, and liquidation. 1+ years of client, server, and network service delivery experience. 2+ years of networking experience (DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI Model, TCP/IP). 2+ years of experience supporting Windows, Mac, or Linux operating systems in a corporate setting. High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, or equivalent field.
