The hiring range for this role is: $150,000.00 - $175,000.00 This is the lowest to highest salary we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the hiring range, and this range may be modified in the future. A candidate's position within the range may depend on factors such as competencies, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and organizational needs. This job is also eligible for an annual bonus incentive pay. Responsibilities Provide technical leadership, analysis, and design facilitation across business, information, and technical viewpoints, establishing Synergie's solution architecture strategy. Collaborate with the chief architect to lead the integration of the Enterprise Architecture process with other related processes. Evaluate existing infrastructure and lead the design, development, and deployment of healthcare business applications. Define technical requirements, manage priorities, and ensure deliverables meet business needs and standards. Guide cross-functional teams and external consultants to deliver solutions on time and within scope. Diagnose complex issues, craft architectural solutions, design MVPs, develop prototypes, and drive Agile software delivery. Ensure quality, security, and performance are embedded throughout development. Explore emerging technologies and validate new approaches through proofs of concept. Architectural and Strategic Analysis Identify patterns and develop reference architectures for business, information, technical, and system domains. Align architectural evolution with business strategies and standards, ensuring security and compliance. Advise management on architectural and technological topics, risks, and opportunities. Security and Documentation Oversee security architecture to support company security posture and best practices. Maintain formal architectural artifacts, ensuring clarity and standards compliance. Leadership and Communication Provide direction, coaching, and support to teams. Establish organizational structures to facilitate architectural consistency and business alignment. Review and approve architectural documents. Education, Experience, and Skills Preferred: Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent experience. Required: Minimum 10 years in IT or software development, including enterprise architecture, system design, and leadership roles. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Deep knowledge of programming languages and object-oriented design. Understanding of cloud architecture, especially AWS (Lambda, Glue, S3, Step Functions, RDS). Expertise in data architectures, pipelines, ETL, and real-time processing. Experience with project management methodologies. Preferred: Extensive knowledge of the health insurance industry. Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills. Ability to perform cost-benefit analysis and develop business cases. Research skills in emerging technologies. Ability to build relationships and navigate ambiguity in fast-paced environments.
