Senior Solutions Architect

The hiring range for this role is: $150,000.00 - $175,000.00 This is the lowest to highest salary we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the hiring range, and this range may also be modified in the future. A candidate's position within the hiring range may be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for annual bonus incentive pay. Responsibilities include: Providing technical leadership, analysis, and design facilitation across business, information, and technical viewpoints, and enterprise architecture. Establishing Synergie's solution architecture strategy and leading the integration of the Enterprise Architecture process. Collaborating with internal departments and external technology partners to evaluate existing infrastructure, lead design, development, and deployment of healthcare business applications, and identify opportunities for improvement. Defining technical requirements for strategic projects, managing priorities, and ensuring deliverables meet business needs and technical standards. Guiding cross-functional teams and external consultants to deliver solutions on time and within scope. Diagnosing complex issues, crafting architectural solutions, designing MVPs, developing prototypes, and driving Agile software delivery. Ensuring quality, security, and performance throughout development. Exploring emerging technologies and validating new approaches through proofs of concept. Additional key duties: Analyzing objectives to develop reference architectures and models for business, information, technical, and system architectures. Developing roadmaps aligned with strategic goals. Ensuring designs align with security and compliance standards such as SOC2, HiTRUST, HIPAA. Serving as an expert advisor on architectural and technological topics, risks, and opportunities. Overseeing security architecture and infrastructure to support security posture. Providing direction, coaching, and support to staff and establishing organizational structures for architectural consistency. Reviewing and approving architectural documentation. Education, Experience, and Skills: Preferred: Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent experience. Required: Minimum 10 years of IT or software development experience including enterprise architecture, system design, business analysis, and technical leadership. Knowledge and skills include: Proficiency in programming languages and object-oriented design. Deep understanding of cloud architecture, especially AWS (Lambda, Glue, S3, Step Functions, RDS). Expertise in data architectures, pipelines, ETL, and real-time data processing. Experience with project management methodologies. Preferred knowledge of the health insurance industry. Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills. Ability to perform cost-benefit analysis, develop business cases, and justify investments. Research skills in emerging technologies. Ability to build relationships, navigate ambiguity, and plan for future technology needs.
