Sierra7, Inc. is seeking a Junior Program Analyst who will support the iFAMS Deployment Team within the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) as part of the Financial Management Business Transformation (FMBT) Program. This role involves assisting with program planning, audits, strategic analysis, and evaluation of healthcare-related initiatives across the Veterans Health Administration (VHA). The candidate will help track progress across multiple deployment areas and ensure alignment with federal program management and risk assessment practices. The analyst will also assist in preparing program documentation and support day-to-day project operations across financial, strategic, and technical workstreams.

Position Responsibilities: • Assist in developing and maintaining integrated program schedules, project plans, and timelines in alignment with iFAMS deployment phases.Support program planning, risk tracking, and execution monitoring activities. • Participate in audits and evaluations to assess program effectiveness and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards. • Assist with data collection, analysis, and reporting for program metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs). • Help support and coordinate activities related to financial management systems and risk management. • Contribute to the preparation of reports, presentations, and briefing materials for stakeholders, including Congressional Affairs coordination. • Support the documentation and validation of accounting structures and configuration activities for system implementation. • Participate in planning and support of stakeholder events, training sessions, and organizational change management deliverables. • Assist in the development and review of iFAMS-related materials such as test scripts, readiness assessments, training materials, and other program-level documents. • Ensure all work products meet Section 508 compliance standards for accessibility.

Requirements

• Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. • Understanding of program or project management principles and life cycles in federal government settings. • Familiarity with risk tracking, master scheduling, and performance evaluation techniques. • Experience supporting financial or healthcare-related systems, preferably in a government context. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and collaboration tools. • Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare professional documentation and stakeholder communications. • Detail-oriented with the ability to follow structured processes and meet deadlines.

Education & Experience: • Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) in Business Administration, Public Policy, Health Administration, Project Management, or a related field (required). • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in program analysis, project coordination, or operational support, preferably within a federal agency. • Prior experience with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) or participation in ERP or healthcare system deployment projects is preferred.
