Based on the integrated regional marketing strategy, this function is responsible for developing partner marketing strategies, supporting the market units, in close collaboration with business stakeholders. This role develops marketing plans with priority partners and supports awareness in the local ecosystem about available partner campaigns, helping optimize use and return on investment of Development Funds. By actively participating in the regional partner marketing community, best practices are shared and adopted where they can strengthen the local plans. There is shared accountability for the success of partner marketing activities between this regional partner marketing role, the broader regional teams and global partner marketing. The individual in this role will focus primarily on working with Sell partners (VARs), especially to support the Partner Driven and Indirect pipeline and revenue requirements. This function also serves as an important connection point to ensure local insights, content and requirements are surfaced via the regional teams to global in order to optimize the performance of future programs and campaigns. Key areas of responsibility for the Field Partner Marketing Specialist: Co-develops Regional and Market Unit strategy & priorities with Partner Ecosystem Success team, aligning marketing efforts with ecosystem objectives and go-to-market priorities. Develops marketing plans with select group of Sell partners (~5-10 VARs) per coverage model, based on strategic focus. Reviews marketing and demand generation performance against the Partner Marketing Plan in close alignment with Partner Business Managers (PBMs), ensuring execution supports mutual goals. Drive a balance of SAP-led, Partner-led and hybrid campaign execution models across VARs to maximize reach and impact. Optimizes use of Development Funds for priority partners, aligning spend to pipeline impact and growth potential. Approves Development Funds proposals to maximize ROI on pipeline Ensures Partner-Led events extend SAP launches and regional campaigns, extending SAP's message and presence in market Supports partner integration in SAP-led MU / Line of Business/Industry marketing plans. Works with Global Partner Marketing Global Platinum Reseller Partner Marketing Manager for local GPR planning & execution. Champions cross-functional collaboration and alignment across Global Partner Marketing, Partner Ecosystem Success, Demand Management, the Digital Hub, Sales, and NA Field Marketing to ensure cohesive go-to-market execution, shared accountability, and optimized partner performance across all touchpoints. To Partners: Establishes and maintains a consistent communication and meeting cadence to ensure strategic alignment, effective activation, and the development of mutually beneficial programs that support partner expansion. Participates in bi-monthly North America Partner Marketing Exchange community calls/meeting to share localized PLDG best practices, new global and regional campaigns, partner success stories with Depth & Breadth partners, in local language (FT HC roles) Runs Quarterly Marketing Reviews with Priority Partners to assess impact of campaigns, identify pipeline gaps and adjust plans and campaigns to address, in collaboration with Partner Business Managers Provides relevant Field & Partner Marketing content in select Partner Enablement Events (owned by GPM & PES) Through Partners: Drives partner adoption of campaigns & localized content and best practices through tailored recommendations & services; owns localization of core elements for market relevance Leads pilot demand generation campaigns and plays with select partners, optimizing based on performance insights before scaling to a broader partner baseensuring adoption of marketing best practices and continuous pipeline growth and acceleration. Facilitates bi-weekly or monthly collaboration calls with each assigned partner to ensure alignment on business objectives, campaign performance and performance tracking. Supports priority partner execution of Partner Led Demand Generation campaigns to support top priorities (GROW/PD/BTP/AI), ensuring partner engagement and measurable outcomes. Provides timely feedback/input to global and regional team on partner campaign needs, performance improvements, etc. Identifies gaps in Partner Benefits Catalogue & recruits Marketing Services Bureaus (MSBs) for local execution and promotes to partners to drive execution Surfaces supplemental localization asks to global and regional partner marketing. With Partners: Runs joint marketing campaigns and events across North America in close collaboration with partners, acting as an extension of SAP's marketing strategy to drive shared pipeline impact and accelerate demand. Incorporates partners into SAP-led in-person and virtual events. Surfaces customer reference stories and builds localized activation plans to amplify new stories via partners digital and in-person channels. With SAP: Represents Regional and Market Unit specific Partner Field Marketing priorities and plans with stakeholders. Works with Market Unit Demand Management Lead as needed to represent MU partner marketing performance and impact in SAP-led (Marketing Sourced and Marketing Influenced) and Partner-led (Partner Sourced) pipeline. Supports and participates in SAP PES QBRs and priority partner-QBRs. Shares joint accountability for Market Unit partner marketing KPIs. The employee who fills this role will be a Professional with experience in generating and retaining cloud business with an indirect model, via partners. The individual will be able to communicate on a peer-to-peer level with regional and global marketing colleagues as well as business stakeholders in order to plan, deliver and optimize effective partner-led and integrated marketing activities to support the business. This role will primarily interact with: Priority MU partners

to build and execute plans and drive pipeline targets. Regional Partner Marketing

to plan, evaluate and optimize partner marketing tactics. Global Partner Marketing teams

for global campaign content and activation kits, PBC updates, Partner Lead Routing impact, To-Partner events & communication integration. Partner Ecosystem Success (PES) / Local Partner Organization

to understand the ecosystem business strategy, priorities and plan activities that support the growth priorities. Regional Marketing teams

to ensure integration of partners in SAP-led marketing activities for the respective audiences. Americas partner marketing teams across the region to exchange experiences and best practices. Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP's commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $100,000- $216,000(USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
